Travel

Les Croix is situated in the eastern corner of the Charente countryside
in South West France, near to the Haute-Vienne border, situated
between the three towns of Bellac, Confolens and St. Junien.

Driving time is approximately 4.5 hours from Caen,
5 hours Le Havre/St.Malo, and 6.5 hours from Calais/Boulogne.

Although the cheapest crossings are from Dover, it is well worth
considering the overnight crossing (with a cabin) from Portsmouth
to Le Havre with LD lines. This reduces the overall driving time in
the UK for many people, and cuts costs on fuel and tolls. Having slept
on the ferry you will be less tired for the drive in France and can arrive feeling ready to enjoy your holiday !

Best driving route from Calais/Boulogne follows Rouen/Le Mans/Tours/Poitiers avoiding Paris !
From Caen/Le Havre follow Le Mans etc.

Transfer time from Limoges airport 25 minutes !

The exact location of the lake and a full set of directions will be
posted to you after you have made your booking.

Tip for driving in France - we recommend the use of a satellite
navigation device - it will make your journey 100% less stressful !
