After our first visit 15 months ago we could not wait to get back to Les Croix. Facilities just as we remembered, perfect accommodation and pristine lake. With some variable weather this week, frosty mornings and some warm afternoons, the fishing has been challenging, but more enjoyable for  it. An amazing average size of fish, with two PB's during the week. Thanks Jon. Two weeks booked for next year - already looking forward to our next trip in May.

Our 14th and 15th week here at Les Croix "our second home"  we are lucky enough to be able to spend 3 weeks a year at this wonderful place which we call carp fishing heaven. A week in April is nice but a week is never long enough, so we always relish our fortnight here in September. Another amazing trip with 25 immaculate carp caught. Unfortunately we had to go home two days early but we will look forward to our next visit in April 2017 and our fortnight next September. Accommodation and lake perfect as usual...Jon's hospitality as always spot on.

Thanks again for a wonderful holiday !!! Weather was hot so we took advantage of the pool 100% ! Our catch report was a little shorter than last time, but we still did well with 6 fish including one of the biggest in the lake ! See you again soon.

Thanks to Jon and Oscar for making our first trip to Les Croix such a relaxing and enjoyable time, fortunately for Lucy the temperature was around 30C for most of the week, although not the best fishing weather ! Must try harder next time !

OMG ! If Carlsberg did carp venues....what anyone visiting this place will find is outstanding accommodation and facilities. "Stunning" is an understatement, Jon's attention to detail is something that he can be very proud of - a carp venue that I

suspect is unsurpassed in the whole of France ! If we are lucky, then Jon will have us back every year until the Carp gods take me ! The fishing was tricky, but we have rebooked for 2017 and 2018.

Our first visit to Les Croix and a fantastic time was had by all. Lee has fished in France many times, but now having visited this venue it has become one of his firm favourites. The weather was very unsettled with heavy rain most of the week, but the fishing was excellent, all the carp were beautiful specimens and in perfect condition. The gite was perfect, so clean and very well equipped. The kids had a great time exploring the site and feeding the goats, not to mention daily visits from Oscar ! A great relaxing break with superb fishing.....will definitely be looking to book again.

Really enjoyed our second stay at Les Croix, weather changeable and fish still in spawning mode but Tony and Andrew still managed to catch some lovely hard fighting fish. Gite perfect as last time. Food excellent. Host Jon welcoming and

accommodating at all times. We will be back.

First time at Les Croix, and as I drove in to the site I was not disappointed - what a stunning lake ! A very friendly welcome from Jon, and the gite was very clean with a welcome pack supplied that was a very nice gesture and well appreciated.

Despite the carp entering spawning mode, I was fortunate enough to catch a new PB mirror. The menu/food package was spot on and cooked perfectly. Many thanks for your friendly hospitality and lovely venue - we have enjoyed every

relaxing minute of the holiday.

I'm almost too stunned to write this. Fishing week of a lifetime ! Our first visit but hopefully many more to follow. Absolutely the best managed, most beautiful and well appointed angling venue I have experienced.There there is the fishing ... immaculately conditioned, hard fighting fish the like of which you will not see elsewhere. I have been lucky enough to catch 19 specimens. Have re-booked for 2017.

Our 13th week here, we have booked for 2017 and 2018 already ! The gite clean and welcoming as always, the welcome hamper a lovely bonus ! A difficult week of fishing due to cool weather - unusual for late April. 6 fish caught, all in immaculate condition. Thanks to Jon for his usual hospitality throughout our stay. Looking forward to September.

After fishing in France for 35 years, every now and then you come across a gem ! That's what you have here at Les Croix. Jon has been nothing short of brilliant, it's obvious to us that he has a wealth of knowledge, not only in fisheries management, but also hospitality. The accommodation and food package are both excellent. The fish are all in immaculate condition and this is due to the rules that Jon has made which are fair and apt for the lake. We can't wait to be back and have already booked for 2017 and 2018.

The holidays here soon come around, and soon pass ! We always look forward to fishing Les Croix. Jon greeeted us as usual with a very warm welcome and always looks after us both during our stay. The gite was presented in immaculate order as per usual, and we enjoyed a selection of great meals throughout the week all prepared by Jon. Every week's fishing is different here, and this week proved to be our most challenging yet. Every sort of weather imaginable with plenty of rain,

we tried all the regular spots but the fish were not on the feed. A chat with Jon is always worth it and a few changes made a difference, in the end we managed five fish including one of the big girls. Have booked another trip together in 2017 and

I (Noel) will be back later this year.
