Terms and conditions.
Holiday deposits are taken on the understanding that the venue’s rules and these terms, as specified below have been read and accepted. Please refer to our website for updates to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update/change the lake or site rules along with these terms and conditions at any time if deemed necessary.
To make an advance holiday reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the total price.
Normally this will consist of a 25% payment at the time of booking, with a second 25% payment later in the year, or a 50% first payment.
Shorter term bookings are to be paid in full at the time of booking (see below).
Bank transfer is the required payment method .UK account.
All holiday payments are non-refundable. No exceptions.
Once we have received your deposit or payment, your holiday will be reserved. The booking will be confirmed with an invoice by email to the party organiser. The final balance due must be paid no later than 12 weeks before the start of your holiday. If payment is not received by this time we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
When a booking is made within 12 weeks of arrival, payment of the full amount is required at the time of booking.
If you cancel a confirmed booking you will be subject to cancellation fees - Cancellation 12 weeks or more before arrival date is deposit only, cancellation less than 12 weeks before arrival is the full cost of the holiday.
If any changes to the confirmed booking are required, if the holiday has been paid for in full, we will try to be flexible where possible in changing the dates – any change of date will be subject to availability and may incur a re-booking fee. If a change of date is requested less than 12 weeks before the original booking date, this will be viewed as a cancellation and we reserve the right to charge full cancellation fees as detailed above.
A refundable damages/cleaning deposit of £200 is payable by bank transfer before arrival. This deposit will be held and refunded within 5 days of the end of the holiday, subject a full inspection of the accommodation has taken place and confirmation that no damages have occurred. Any damages will be taken from the deposit, in addition to a cleaning fee if the accommodation is not left in the state in which it was found – this fee will be charged according to the amount of extra time/work required.
In addition to the accommodation deposit, a £100 deposit is payable for each set of fishing tackle hired (as appropriate.)
We reserve the right to terminate your holiday at any time in the case of non-compliance with the lake or site rules, and/or these terms and conditions,or causing harm or disturbance to others, grounds, the fish or property. You will not be eligible for a refund and may incur additional costs for damage.
Customers can arrive after 15:00 on the Saturday of arrival, and must leave the site by 10:00 the following Saturday of departure.

IMPORTANT
We accept no responsibility for any problems with regard to travel to the venue - this includes delays, ferry/tunnel/flight cancellations, weather problems and international travel restrictions etc. - all of which are totally outside our control.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct and up-to-date travel documents. All holidaymakers must have a valid passport, and should check the expiry date of this, which can be up to 18 months earlier than that printed on the passport.
We strongly recommend that you take out your own private travel/medical insurance which should include cover for cancellation of holidays, and advise that you should bring a copy of your medical insurance with you.​
