Catch Report 16th - 23rd October 2025

John and Julie returned to Les Croix after their two week road trip exploring the Dordogne further south.

It was as if John had not left, as the fish were still in ravenous feeding mode on his return.

Another fairly hectic week followed, and it has once again been an incredible weeks fishing with 62 fish caught. 6 x 40's, 16 x 30's, 16 x 20's and the rest doubles with just one single figure mirror of 9-11 in the catch on the last day ! 38 of the 62 fish were in excess of 30lbs.

During this second week John fished from 06:00 until 20:00 and has used 13kg of ID baits coconut/cream boilies, catching fish from two areas of the lake, a baited area at 12-13 wraps and a further out area where he just fished with small PVA bags.

There were some fairly well defined feeding spells in the morning and late afternoon/evening, the period before dark was notably quiet this week.

Two incredible weeks which will certainly be remembered as a stand out period in the history of Les Croix !
